That’s where you come in. About the team : As the Senior Manager of Technical Program Management in Capital One’s Enterprise Data and Machine Learning (EDML) division, you’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation and efficiency in our Data API ecosystem.

Your role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute on API initiatives, setting strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in API development processes.

You’ll be responsible for establishing best practices, fostering a culture of innovation, and delivering high-quality data products that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners.

Additionally, expect to play a key role in stakeholder engagement, driving adoption, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our data APIs.

In addition to the technical program, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve.

Our Senior Manager TPMs have : Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycleAbility to define the strategic direction for cross LOB API initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and market trends.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of API projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site) : $199,100 - $227,200 for Sr.

Manager, Technical Program ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI).
