About The Position
Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - 3N Telemetry - Nights Job Specialty : Inpatient - Registered / Licensed Nurse Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night, 6 : 45pm - 7 : 15am Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Less than 1 year required, direct patient care experience preferred License : Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS - Instructor Must-Have : Ability to read, write, and speak English- Basic computer skills and ability to optimize the use of technology in clinical care- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively- Excellent time management and strong critical thinking skills Job Description : Serve as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high quality, individualized, and safe patient care- Practice nursing within a framework guided by professional practice models and evidence-based research- Uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the relevant professional standards and ethics- Focus on relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity and population-specific needs- Engage patients and significant others in their care planning and update- Coordinate and document safe quality patient care while promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and teamwork within the healthcare team- Support and participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance- Mentor and precept other nurses and healthcare staff, modeling professional practice standards- Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research to enhance patient care- Comply with all applicable policies, standards, and regulations while ensuring patient safety goals- Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum and participate in protocol development to achieve best practice outcomes- Use material and human resources efficiently and effectively- Perform other duties as assigned.
