St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Samaritan Hospital General Surgery team located in Troy, New York.
The Surgical PA will work with surgeons in General, Bariatric, and Urology surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic approaches.
Position Details :
- First assisting, admissions, and rounding on the campus of Samaritan Hospital.
- Schedule : One 16-hour shift followed by on call for OR, admissions, consults and floor calls from home (approx. 24-hour shift), and three 8-hour shifts.
- Weekend shifts are 1 : 4.
Interested applicants should have the following :
- NYS licensure and DEA required.
- Graduation from an AMA approved program, Board Certification.
- Experienced PAs or new grads encouraged to apply.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE
St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes :
- $22,500 sign-on incentive paid out as follows : $7,500 starting bonus, $5,000 retention bonus year 2, $5,000 retention bonus year 3, and $5,000 relocation assistance
- Competitive base salary range $125,000 - $143,000
- Excellent benefits; including health / vision / dental insurances
- Paid malpractice, including post-SPHP employment tail coverage
