Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary
- Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired finishes
- Apply paint coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Ensure even and smooth application of paint, taking into account specifications and project requirements
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect finished work for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding paint materials, tools, and equipment
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a similar industry
- Proficient knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
- Familiarity with various types of paint coatings and their applications
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, specifications, and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to painting and industrial environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in painting is a plus
- Driver's license
