Overview Competitive Compensation Expected pay for this position is $26.94-$32.33. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Stackable Pay Incentives $2.75 / hr night shift differential + weekend differential of $2.50 / hr. Comprehensive benefits package BCBS Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with 5% match, $5250 Educational assistance per year.

Vacation and Holiday time OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1.

This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits. POSITION SUMMARY : The Surgical Technologist provides care for patients across the life span based on physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety, appropriate to the age of the person.

Primarily performs duties of scrub person throughout the intra-operative phase of care. Recognizes significant conditions and reactions and notifies the RN, Charge Nurse, Anesthesia provider and / or the physician of the patient’s condition.

Adheres to a high standard of patient safety principles and aseptic and sterile techniques. Follows and understands the standards and recommended practices according to the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) and Association of Surgical Technologist.
