Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage critical US Government projects within our Position, Navigation and Timing Business.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can navigate complex project landscapes and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
You will play a key role in shaping project strategies, fostering collaboration, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Leadership : Direct and oversee all phases of project life cycles, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
Project Planning : Develop, refine, and manage comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocations, and budget estimates.
Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of project goals.
Stakeholder Engagement : Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project expectations.
Monitoring and Reporting : Track project progress against established milestones and deliverables; provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, highlighting successes and addressing challenges.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
Experience : A minimum of three years of project management experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.
Project Management Skills : Proven ability to develop and manage project plans, including detailed schedules and resource management.
Leadership Abilities : Strong problem-solving, risk management, and time management skills, with a demonstrated capacity for leading teams and driving projects to successful completion.
Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello), with a solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Government Contracting Knowledge : Experience with US Government contracts, regulations, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
