Crisis Coordinator – Asheville, Boone, Franklin, Marion & Wilkes County – All Shifts – Up to $23.00 / hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for several Community Outreach Coordinators for the Asheville, Boone, Franklin, Marion and the surrounding areas for mornings, afternoons, evening and weekend hours.

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting individuals and communities in recovering from the effects of disasters through the provision of community-based outreach and psycho-educational services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and emotional support to individuals, families, and groups.
• Conduct individual and group crisis counseling, public education, and referrals when needed.
• Network with the community and other agencies to ensure needs of survivors are met.
• Provide presentations to community groups on disaster reactions, coping skills, stress, and other relevant educational materials.
• Utilize mobile applications to complete data forms and assist with telehealth services when applicable.
• Conduct needs assessments and create individual plans of service.
• Provide consistent updates to assessments as needed.

Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts are available including mornings, afternoons, evening and weekend hours.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
