Numotion, the nation's leading provider of Complex Rehabilitation Technology, is seeking a dedicated Customer Care Intake Representative I to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX - Urology.
This full-time, regular / at-will position offers a salary range between $42,000.00 and $50,000.00 annually. As a Customer Care Intake Representative I, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient processing of medical supply orders.
Your responsibilities will include answering incoming calls, handling faxes, triaging inquiries, and communicating personalized insurance information to clients.
You will be tasked with processing new orders, conducting insurance verifications, and performing gross margin checks. Additionally, you will request, collect, and review order documents such as Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN), Letters of Medical Necessity (LMN), and chart notes.
Your role is pivotal in facilitating communication among customers, payers, distributors, and healthcare professionals to complete initial orders.
You will also liaise with MSAMs / ISRs regarding order status, process payments, and uphold Numotion's Leadership Principles, confidentiality policies, and federal regulations.
Your commitment to providing excellent customer service and finding solutions for customer concerns is essential. The job may evolve based on organizational needs and management decisions.
Physical requirements include frequent use of computer equipment, prolonged periods at a desk, occasional reaching, and the ability to lift / move up to 10 pounds.

Required Skills
- High School diploma / GED required.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in insurance eligibility verification.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in calculating deductibles and coinsurance for primary and secondary policies.
- Background in Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance.
- Associates degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Quick decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, listening, organization, and priority setting skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Required Experience
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven track record in customer service or a related field.
- Experience with insurance eligibility verification and understanding of healthcare insurance including Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation such as CMN and LMN.
- Experience in communicating complex insurance and financial information to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to confidentiality policies and compliance with federal regulations.
- History of working collaboratively in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
