Job description : The Epsilon Brand and Creative Team is looking for an inspired and passionate storyteller who can champion and evangelize the Epsilon brand across all audiences, campaigns, and channels.

This senior copywriter role will write copy that articulates our unified story, vision & purpose, while bringing the brand to life in across solution and vertically focused assets and campaigns.

As part of Epsilon’s copywriting team, you will ensure that the Epsilon brand is effectively communicated and reflected in all internal & external materials and campaigns.

Responsibilities :

Brand Storyteller : Serve as a brand storytelling and copywriting subject matter expert, with deep knowledge of the Epsilon brand narrative, vision and purpose.

This includes expertise on the audiences and channels where the brand comes to life. Collaborate with the Groupe Creative Director and Director of Brand Marketing to develop on-demand brand messaging, headlines, body copy, scripts and narratives.

Content Creation : Writes and guarantees the accuracy of content and copy for assigned projects that support Epsilon’s brand and key messaging.

Projects may include website content, marketing / sales collateral, email communications and landing pages, concepts for product development, scripts for videos (both internal and external).

Strong email copywriting skills a big plus.

Creative Excellence : Maintain the highest brand standards and best practices for all content generated while meeting all established deadlines.

Your work must balance edge, verve and passion with the skill to clearly describe and explain complex subjects. You should possess a confident ability to generate new creative concepts.

Technical Proficiency & Industry Knowledge : Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite desirable.

• Raises the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and brings the Epsilon brand to life.
• Displays a versatile writing style, adapting for myriad internal teams, target audiences and channels.
• Strategic problem-solving abilities and expertise in the interpretation of marketing team needs and requirements.
• Skilled in writing clear, concise, engaging and grammatically correct copy.
• Ability to generate and develop creative ideas and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in following brand style guidelines.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, leadership by example.
• Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.

Qualifications :

• BS / BA degree (Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in brand copywriting and storytelling in a corporate marketing function or Agency. Experience with Adtech, Martech or Data companies a plus.
• A strong working knowledge of how copy must evolve and adapt to suit different media and platforms.
• Ability to be in Chicago office at least 2 days a week.
