WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using computer systems
- Ability to manage a multi-line switchboard effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to service.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Handling Incoming Calls :
- Answer incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and referral sources in a courteous and professional manner
- Provide accurate information and assistance based on caller needs.
- Patient Information Management :
- Accurately enter new patient details into the company’s computer system, including personal information, diagnosis, physician details, product requirements, and insurance information.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise records of all patient interactions and transactions.
- Order Processing :
- Secure written orders from physicians and verify patient insurance coverage.
- Generate and process orders efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
- Follow-Up Communication :
- Keep customers and referral sources informed about the status of their orders.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns.
- Multi-Line Switchboard Operation :
- Manage a multi-line switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel as needed.
- Ensure that calls are answered promptly and routed correctly to minimize wait times.
- Customer Service :
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering support.
- Advocate for patients by ensuring they receive the necessary information and resources.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with other departments and team members to ensure seamless operations and patient care.
LOCATION & SCHEDULE :
- 26834 Lawrence Ave. Center Line, MI 48015
- Monday-Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM
REMOTE / HYBRID TERMS :
- Must train on-site at our Center Line Headquarters
- Must be abler to work a hybrid schedule of minimum 3 days in office
