DNV's Medical Device Product Assurance group is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager , to take on the responsibility of leading the sales for DNV North America's medical device certification service line.
The sales manager reports to the Director of Product assurance and is responsible for spearheading our sales efforts for North America's medical device certification service line.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by driving growth and ensuring the highest standards of medical device safety.
What You'll Do
Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts for the North American market, aligned with DNV's vision.
Market Analysis : Analyze market needs and expectations to drive sustainable growth.
Sales Execution : Implement tactical sales plans, develop new strategic contacts, and ensure adherence to Notified Body processes.
Team Development : Train, manage, and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Performance Reporting : Prepare and present reports on sales activities, calls, follow-ups, and quotes for bi-weekly and monthly reviews.
Process Improvement : Participate in the Annual Operating Plan development and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Customer Feedback : Monitor and act on customer feedback and complaints to enhance service quality.

Qualifications
What is Required
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in medical device certification industry
- Proven presentation & negotiation skills
- Demonstrable leadership and proven recent history of success in sales
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; Access
- Willingness and ability to travel, up to 75% of the time
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
- This role will require an established sales goal that aligns with the DNV Sales Incentive Scheme
What Is Preferred :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration or relevant field
- Extensive network of business relations within medical device field
- Knowledge and / or experience with MDR, MDSAP and ISO standards
