About The Position
- Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technician / PET-CT Technician Job Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30);
- Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off once per two-week pay period Experience : Minimum 1 year required;
- First-timers accepted License : CA License required. No temporary licenses accepted. Certifications : BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB preferred;
CT Advanced Certification preferred Must-Have : - Comfortable with floating between different units- Previous references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Job Description : Perform nuclear medicine and PET-CT procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results- Comply with all relevant safety standards and protocols- Should be prepared to float between different hospitals within the state if required- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including working 3 of the 5 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day- Complete pre-start and annual mandatory training modules, averaging 16 non-billable hours- Attend a 40-hour non-billable orientation- Be open to on-call opportunities if desired, though not requiredNote : COVID-19 vaccination is required, but medical / religious exemptions and declinations are allowed.
