Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility / assisted living communities.\n
Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures including the safety program.\n
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with documentation regarding care and service provided.\n
Participate in the orientation of new residents / family members to the facility.\n
Make rounds with health care provider as needed.\n
Utilize nursing personnel qualifications according to the resident's care plan, service plans and health care provider orders.\n
Assure and make available protective equipment for staff.\n
Maintain nursing service work areas (i.e., nurses' stations, medicine preparation rooms, etc.), resident rooms, and treatment areas in a clean and sanitary manner.\n\nEducation and Experience\n
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in applicable state.\n
