About The Position
Job Title : Rad Tech Job Specialty : Radiology CT / X-Ray Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10-Hour Night Shifts, Saturday & Sunday + 2 Weeknights, varied start between 6 PM-8 PM, with required on-call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Valid Radiologic Technology license Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R) (CT), Fluoroscopy permit Must-Have : Flexible candidate to work varied 10-hour night shifts Job Description : - Work every weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.
Weekdays will vary, with efforts made to provide two consecutive days off. - Schedule changes frequently; start times range from 6 PM to 8 PM, with 10-hour shifts ending at 5 AM or 7 AM.
- Required to float between CT and X-Ray departments. - Equipment : Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 for CT, Carestream equipment and portables for X-Rays.
- Handle approximately 110-130 patients daily in the CT department. - Scrubs color : Teal. - Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, with full shift or partial shift cancellation.
- Charting system : Cerner. - Modules required to be completed before assignment start, averaging 3-4 hours (not billable).
- Required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Please ensure all required documentation and certifications are in order before submitting your profile for consideration.
