We are seeking a Planner to join a Fishers, IN, manufacturing organization providing world-class systems, processes, and services for the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry.
This position is full-time, 100% on-site in Fishers five days per week, and operates in a 24 / 7 environment. Therefore, the Planner must live in the Indianapolis area and be flexible as needs require.
The Planner will be responsible for managing the definition and fulfillment of production requirements within specified delivery times, balance demand planning with production capacity, resource availability, inventory targets, lead times, and minimum production batch sizes for assigned global product types.
In addition, the Planner will optimize costs and resolve conflicts between production load and available capacity, collaborate with relevant functions and adhere to standards and procedures as directed by leadership.

Responsibilities :
- Analyze demand planning and constraints related to production capacity, inventory targets, lot sizes, and lead times. Evaluate critical issues impacting demand volumes and delivery times, collaborating with the Sales and Customer Service teams to align on customer agreements.
- Develop the Medium-Long Term Production Plan (MPS) in coordination with the Scheduler and leadership. Allocate demand to validated production lines globally, ensuring production requirements are met while minimizing stockouts and avoiding overstock situations.
- Continuously monitor forecasts, production, and resource capacities. Confirm sales orders, identify changes and bottlenecks affecting the plan, and collaborate with other functions to implement solutions.
Propose improvements to enhance production planning parameters.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to continuously improve planning processes, optimizing costs, service levels, and stock in line with company guidelines.
- Define validation plans for new product introductions, working closely with the Quality Team to ensure compliance and successful integration.
- Measure, analyze, and report on KPIs to ensure adherence to targets for assigned products. Evaluate sales forecasts, assess reorder plan efficiency, and maintain service levels.
Provide support to leadership for critical decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation of systems and processes to ensure effective conversion of the MPS. Integrate and align detailed production schedules with the overall production plan, maintaining continuous communication with the Scheduler of the relevant plant.
- Regularly engage and effectively communicate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to build awareness of planning processes and objectives.
Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Planner in a manufacturing / pharmaceutical environment.
- Proven knowledge of Supply Chain processes, features and techniques.
- Experience in Planning processes and methodologies such as capacity and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting methodologies, techniques, tools, and applications.
- Expertise in relevant systems, tools, and applications such as CyberPlan and LN.
