Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead Environmental Investigations : Take charge of wetland delineation and mitigation projects, ensuring they're carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Expert Permit Preparation : Utilize your expertise to prepare permits, including those for well sites, pipeline projects, and more.
Your attention to detail will be crucial in navigating regulatory requirements.
- Analytical Data Validation : Review and validate analytical data collected during fieldwork, conducting corrective actions as needed to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Environmental Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and report on environmental data such as soil or water samples, providing valuable insights to guide decision-making.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure our projects adhere to federal and local regulations and guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes along the way.
- Instrument Operation and Troubleshooting : Operate instruments, track test results, and troubleshoot any issues that arise, demonstrating your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Permit Package Compilation : Compile and submit permit packages to state agencies, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
- Field Visits : Participate in field visits as required by project needs, collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives.
Requirements :
Experience : 3-10 years of experience in the environmental field, with prior experience as an Environmental Scientist required.
Your expertise in wetland delineations, permit preparation, and species clearances will be invaluable.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field from an accredited university. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- Certifications : USACE-based Wetland Delineation Certification and Professional Wetland Scientist Certification or Wetland Scientist in Training preferred.
- Skills : Proficiency in field data collection, GPS technology, and analytical techniques will set you up for success in this role.
