Job Description : We are seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team near Alsip, IL for the upcoming school year.
This position entails working with students across K-8grade levels.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct instruction in core academic subjects and essential life skills development.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education
- Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement (or eligibility to obtain before the start date).
- Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including behavioral and cognitive disabilities is preferred.
