Head of Business Management Tooling (Remote)
Job Description
The VP of Business Management Tooling is a leadership role that will report to the SVP of Technology Business Operations, and is fully remote.
Lead the selection and implementation of Business Management (BM) tools
Oversee the support and maintenance of the BM applications to ensure availability and reliability
Manage incident and problem-resolution processes
Manage change / release management process for the applications, ensuring proper testing and documentation
Develop training and policies for proper usage and data protection
Ensure the BM tools / applications comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Implement security measures to protect the BM applications from threats and vulnerabilities
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Identify areas for continuous improvement and lead projects to enhance the service's functionality and performance
Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to enhance the service
Be the primary contact for vendors
Manage procurement processes, including vendor negotiations and contract management
Define the service level agreement (SLA) metrics and report results to teammates
Manage the budget for the applications, including costs for development, licensing and support
Evaluate and approve expenditures related to the service
Manage and mentor a team of direct reports
