PJP Marketplace is a family-owned grocery company based out of Northeast Philadelphia, offering traditional retail groceries and bulk items without a club store membership fee.

We also sell foodservice supplies and restaurant equipment with trained professionals available to consult on your business needs.

What's your day like?

As a Truck Driver at PJP Marketplace, you'll pick up orders from our store locations and deliver them to our business customers across Philadelphia, the Philly suburbs, and New Jersey.

Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading the truck to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.

To excel as a Truck Driver at PJP Marketplace, candidates must have previous driving experience and a proven ability to follow instructions accurately.

Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients during deliveries. The role also requires the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally. Familiarity with standard practices and tools used in the transportation industry will be advantageous in carrying out daily tasks efficiently (e.

g. electric pallet jack). If you possess these skills and are eager to contribute to a customer-focused team, this position may be the perfect fit for you.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Previous professional driving experience required. Must be comfortable operating 26' box truck.
• Clean driving record
• Ability to follow instructions, including delivery routes and truck operation protocol.
• Customer service skills
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally
