Rehab Tech - Inpatient Rehab - Part time- Weekends

Employment Type : Part time Shift : Day Shift Description : This position is for Saturday and Sunday 7 : 30-4 : 00 and includes a holiday rotation.

• JOB SUMMARY

This position assists the licensed / certified rehabilitation services professional (PT, OT, PTA, COTA, SLP) in the preparation of patients for treatment, assist with certain therapy procedures with patients, and maintains therapy equipment in a clean and aesthetic manner. This position also transports patients to and from the rehabilitation department.  This position supports the above Rehab Staff in the MercyOne acute care hospital setting.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education : High school graduate or equivalent or successful completion of formal Nurse Aide Course (training verified transcript or original program certificate of completion)

Experience :   Previous experience in a health care field is preferred.

Special Skills and Competencies : Ability to communicate and work with patients of all ages, Flexibility in work schedule.
