Our valued client is a leading construction company dedicated to delivering excellence in marine-related projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivalbe Specialist to join our growing accounting team, reporting to the controller.

salary : $25 - $26 per hour
shift : First
work hours : 8 AM - 5 PM
education : High School
Responsibilities
- Enters original budget for the start-up of project-related accounting, and enters other information in ERP
- Creates and enters billings for operations
- Apply all payments received against open Accounts Receivable
- Reviews Aging analysis report at month end for negative / unapplied payments
- Issues monthly AR aging reports at month end to GM and Contract Admins for review and response on collection efforts
- Prepares month-end reconciliation of AR to include retainage g / l accounts
- Reviews monthly and ensures all Intercompany project set-ups and monthly billings are accurately reflected in accordance with the contract value
- Prepares and reconciles division petty cash accounts for the Controller.
