Job Description

Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as a Lecturer in the Civil Engineering program in the School of Engineering starting Spring 2024 or Fall 2024.

We invite applications from all areas of Civil Engineering. An interest / experience in teaching first year courses will be a plus.

The School of Engineering is the largest academic unit within Wentworth, serving approximately 1,400 students in eight undergraduate engineering programs : biological, biomedical, civil, computer, electrical, electromechanical, engineering, and mechanical.

In addition, the school has Master of Science degrees in civil, computer, and electrical engineering. Our curriculum provides practical, hands-on experience through laboratory-intensive courses.

Our faculty comprises individuals from wide-ranging backgrounds and experiences where collaboration is highly encouraged and supported, and our School has no department boundaries.

Another point of pride is that our faculty members include those with significant industrial, consulting, entrepreneurial, and project management experience.

Minimum Requirements :

Master's degree in civil engineering

Preferred Work Experience

Interest and / or experience in teaching first year courses is a plus
