RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED ER

Job Details :

  • Emergency department nursing position in Level I trauma center
  • 4 weekend shifts per month required
  • Self-scheduling available
  • Variable patient ratios depending on acuity and volume
  • Royal blue scrubs required (branded preferable)
  • Work with 38 beds including trauma bays, burn room, psych room, and vertical treatment area
  • Required certifications : Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
  • SAMA, CPI or equivalent required within 30-day grace period if not already obtained
  • Preferred certification : ENPC
  • Work with standard emergency / trauma equipment
  • Electronic medical records system : Meditech
  • No floating required, but may cross-train for sister facility
  • Handle certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and accredited burn cases
  • Must have easy-going personality, flexibility, positive attitude, and patient-first philosophy
