About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : NICU Respiratory Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM), Every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum six months of experience required License : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), MD licensed Certifications : BLS via AHA, NRP required for NICU Must-Have : NICU Level III experience Job Description : Primarily assigned to the NICU and Labor Delivery, with responsibilities including both pediatric and adult care as needed.
- Cover NICU and ICU adults when required.- Manage ventilators including HFOV and Jet ventilation, SiPAP, and High Flow oxygen.
- Administer Nitric Oxide, oxygen therapy, and medication surfactant delivery.- Handle high-risk deliveries.- Conduct computerized documentation of care provided.
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult patients.- Work requires knowledge typically acquired through an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy or closely related field.
