Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities.
Columbia Community Mental Health’s Cornerstone Residential Treatment Facility in St. Helens, Oregon is a 24 / 7, 16-bed psychiatric residential treatment program that supports adults, young adults, and seniors (65+) facing severe and persistent mental illness. Position : Community Support Specialist
Department : Residential (Cornerstone)
Shift : On-call
Salary Range : $22.19 - $29.58 (hourly). We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements : High school diploma / equivalency preferred and at least one-year experience working with individuals with mental health needs. Combination of education / experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Staff to join our residential services team. This position plays a key role in providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals in our care. The Support Staff is responsible for supervising and monitoring client activities, assisting with daily living needs, administering and documenting medications accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized facility.
This role also includes preparing meals, providing transportation for clients, attending meetings, and completing required documentation. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as staff may provide respite coverage at multiple facilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively while ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
Working conditions : This position works in an office environment / residential home. This position is not remote.
