We are thrilled to announce an opening for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care and operations when the Director is not present.
Competitive Salary : $130,000 - $140,000 annually

Key Responsibilities of the ADON :
- Foster a safe and healthy work environment that prioritizes high-quality resident care.
- Cultivate a culture of engagement, empowering team members to excel in resident care and professional growth.
- Oversee and direct nursing personnel to ensure optimal resident care.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and management, facilitating effective communication.
- Address nursing and unit challenges with confidence and decisiveness.
- Attend and supervise weekly wound rounds to maintain care standards.
- Engage in facility surveys and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships through effective communication with staff, physicians, and residents’ families.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited School of Nursing and a current, valid RN license in New York State.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing home is required.
- Proven experience in long-term care settings is essential.
- Strong ability to perform well under pressure, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
