School Based Day Treatment Licensed Group Leader
Salary : 12-Month Position

o Bachelors Licensed - $26.44 / hr
o Masters Licensed - $28.37 / hr
10-Month Position
o Bachelors Licensed $26.44 / hr
o Masters Licensed - $28.37 / hr
Primary Objective :
The School Based Day Treatment Licensed Group Leader is the clinical lead responsible for facilitating daily day treatment services with support from the Mental Health Group Specialists (II).
Requirements :
o Licensed in the State of Ohio.
o Minimum bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
o Expected to achieve TFM certification after 1 year of practicing.
o Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
o Exposure to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments.
o Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 pounds.
o Must be capable of sustained exertion and be able to participate in the physical restraint techniques and exercises required to always ensure safety of clients.
Career Ladder :
o Promotions include Transitional Support Specialist (TSS), Team Lead, Clinical Supervisor onward.
Primary Responsibilities :
Direct Client Service :
o Build unconditional rapport with assigned clients.
o Maintain a therapeutic environment for clients.
o Establish effective communication strategies and informed consent with client, families, school.
o Develop concise and thorough BSPs and crisis management plans.
o Contribute clinical documentation as necessary.
o Demonstrate mastery of TFM standards of care.
o Utilize knowledge of group therapy to solicit participation from clients.
o Participate in developing and utilizing evidence-based interventions in group curriculum.
o Utilize CPI and De-escalation best practices to manage crises; consult with supervisor as required.
Internal and External Collaboration :
o Comes prepared for supervision with Case Consultation Form; Seeks supervision as necessary.
o Productively works with partner (as assigned) to meet the goals of the client / program.
o Consult and collaborate as a member amongst treatment team at least weekly.
o Responding to internal and external communication promptly (24 hours at most).
o Communicates progress with school and guardians at partner meetings.
o Demonstrates strength-based, trauma informed communication.
o Actively recruits new group members.
Quality Assurance and Effectiveness :
o Strives to positively impact quarterly quality targets.
o Uses data to inform clinical documentation and recommendations.
o Always maintains and models TFM Certification Standards.
o Provides comprehensive and complete diagnostic assessments to evaluate appropriate level of care.
o Develops and facilitates intervention objectives to meet treatment needs.
o Maintains compliance with professional licensure.
Administrative :
o Ensures accurate and timely completion of all required clinical documentation and maintains all records in accordance with expected guidelines.
o Credible schedule is updated prior to the start of the work week.
o Demonstrate independence in using Credible Reports : SBDT outcomes report
o Uses correct billing codes and location types
o Complies with regulation regarding client confidentiality in all settings.
o Completes necessary administrative tasks in ADP.
o Ensures materials are prepared and the group room maintains needed supplies.
