Responsibilities Work in a hospital ultrasound department with adult and pediatric patient populations Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts, vascular, and cardiac as needed Day shifts from 12 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 PM with no weekends and varied on-call requirements May be required to float to other locations within a 60-mile radius as per facility policy Use of Epic EMR for documentation Must adhere to radiation safety regulations and ALARA principles Responsible for quality image production, patient positioning, and equipment operation and maintenance Provides patient education, assists with patient transport, and ensures smooth workflow Expected to maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations including ACR accreditation standards Flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31); medical exemptions considered only with physician documentation No local candidates within 60-mile radius will be considered Must be flexible to perform duties outside original assignment requirements if floated per policy Scrub attire requirements to follow hospital policy Requirements High school diploma or GED required Current ARDMS RDMS(OB / GYN), (AB), (BR), RVT(VT), RDCS(AE), (PE) or ARRT R.T.(S), R.T.(S)(BS), R.T.(S)(VS); license required if applicable Active AHA BLS certification required One year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred Ability to start IVs and administer contrast as required by department Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621683.
