VCA Cedar View Animal Hospital, located in Apple Valley, Minnesota, has been a pioneer in the veterinary community for over 40 years.

Our four-doctor practice works hard to deliver the best medical care for our patients.

We are proudly an AAHA-accredited hospital providing Preventative / Routine medical care. In addition to our general Veterinary services, we offer advanced services such as orthopedic surgeries, advanced soft tissue surgeries, ultrasounds, and specialty dermatology visits on-site through outside specialists.

Overall Responsibility : Our Certified Veterinary Technicians provide compassionate veterinary care to our patients.

Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.

Venipuncture and IVC placement

Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.

Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.

Recognize subtle change in clinical status.

Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.

Complete estimates, basic record keeping.

Surgical preparation and assisting.

Anesthesia monitoring.

Dentistry and dental radiographs

Diagnostic imaging (radiographs and assisting with ultrasounds)

Compensation : Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

Schedule : Full-time opportunities are available, with flexible shift schedules. 4 x 10 hour with rotating Saturdays.
