AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care in St Matthews is currently seeking an Automotive Master Technician / Shop Foreman to become an integral part of our leadership team!

- Computer Reflashing experience
- Engine repair experience
- Transmission diagnostics, removal & installation.
Transmission rebuilding experience in not necessary, however is a plus!

Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
- Delegate workflow to the other technicians
- Help with parts ordering, pricing & returns

Qualifications :
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Additional Requirements :
- ASE certifications
- A / C Certifications
- Minimum 3-10 years in automotive repair experience
- Must have own tools
- Experience using store equipment such as lifts, scanners, transmission flushers, jacks, etc. proficiently
- Availability to work a 5 day work schedule with no evenings, Saturdays, Sundays
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license
- Must have high school diploma / GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
