  • ABOUT THE JOB
  • This position is a leadership role managing an Enhanced Due Diligence team within the AML Operations team, across multiple sites. This is an enterprise function and partners with a number of stakeholders, while ultimately serving and protecting Key and our clients. Working with the AML Operations Sr. Department Manager, this position leads the Due Diligence team, contributes to the development and implementation of AML Due Diligence strategies & practices, procedures and reporting / metrics, identifies and supports system enhancements along with human resource management. Relationship building within Enterprise Security Services, Financial Crimes Governance / AML Compliance, regulators, internal auditors and internal Key Technology Operations & Services (KTOS) partners is a primary success factor. A very solid understanding of AML operational processes is critical for success.
  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Provide direction and leadership to the team responsible for Enhanced Due DiligenceManage human and financial resources to effectively achieve or exceed established goals and objectivesEffectively partner with Financial Crimes Governance to ensure alignment with organizational prioritiesLead short and long-term organizational planning and implementationDevelop and maintain an effective succession planning process that minimizes critical person dependencies across the functionDirect and lead a complex organization to effectively manage AML Due Diligence teams, adhere to service level agreements, and meet regulatory requirementsContinue to build and develop a highly engaged, diverse team, developing associates to achieve corporate and group goals while achieving high level of employee satisfactionFoster a workplace culture that is positive and excellence-drivenCommunicate the vision and the successful execution plan for the AML Client Due Diligence strategic and tactical objectivesDevelop and maintain relevant metrics and reporting to effectively measure and enhance functional performanceProvide oversight and quality assessment of due diligence alerts, reconciliation processes, decision process, and closure processPartner with Financial Crimes Governance in support of their varying priorities and initiativesLead select initiatives and balance other responsibilities accordinglyConduct presentations to internal stakeholders on processes and capabilities, as neededCollaborate with support partners (technology, compliance, other KTOS, RM&A / MR etc.) to leverage expertise and ensure effective operations management for respective functionMaintain highest level of data and regulatory integrityMaintain proper internal and externally regulated operational controlsEffectively interface and maintain a positive relationship with auditor / regulatorsMonitor group performance for maximum efficiency and effectivenessOptimize continuous improvement opportunities and initiate associated change management within the organization to ensure year-over-year annualized efficienciesCultivate industry relationships and stay abreast of industry trends and competitive insightsFoster continuous improvement environment, leveraging tools & automation capabilities and enabling teams to embark on appropriate exploration effortsContinuously enhance individual and team productivity by providing appropriate training and tools to the group to enhance skills, effectiveness, and efficiencyProvide leadership and direction to team to achieve organizational objectivesContinuously monitor the risk environment, foster a risk culture, and effectively adjust tactics to ensure compliance with corporate risk appetite and risk thresholds.Stay abreast of risk trends and mitigation strategiesPartner with Risk Management to refine and implement appropriate risk management tacticsEnsure that programs, policies, and procedures are currentEffectively meet internal and external audit, compliance, and regulatory expectations
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of industry trends and practices in Risk Management, AML / Compliance, Operations, and Technology
  • Proven leadership skills and presence
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or related field
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in leadership role over complex areas in operations or risk management
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner, influence and negotiate with various senior lines of business partners, technology, compliance and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing an operating environment of continuous improvement for optimized service quality and / or cost
  • Knowledge and experience in risk management concepts and the ability to effectively manage risk according to established risk tolerances and thresholds
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain metrics around service levels, quality, and key indicators to continuously enhance effectiveness and sustain program stability
  • Ability to interface with regulators and other corporate oversight groups, as needed.

If not located near a Key facility, team will consider remote workers.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includeseligibility forshort-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
