Achieve your goals by starting a career with Tri-State Bobcat. A proven leader in the industry for 40 years with 5 locations, is looking to hire a Diesel Shop Mechanic to service and repair an extensive line of compact construction, forestry and grounds equipment.
Get paid $28.00- $36.00 per hour for your experience, strong mechanical and problem solving skills! NO WEEKENDS - M-F 8 : 00- 5 : 00!! Work in our newly renovated store located in Burnsville, MN.
Position duties and responsibilities for Diesel Mechanic :
- Diagnose and repair equipment as needed
- Perform required preventive maintenance
- Obtain or order parts needed for repairs
- Communicate job progress to service manager
- Inspect and test equipment when work is completed
- Check work orders for complete and accurate description of work performed, parts, and labor
- Maintain company safety standards and work area organization
- Attend company paid training to keep current on new equipment and updates
Position requirements for Diesel Mechanic :
- Previous experience as a mechanic in diesel engine repair and service
- Complete set of tools that you can build on with our Tool Allowance Program
- Experience with hydraulic / hydrostatic systems and electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills and commitment to completing jobs as scheduled
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
