About The Position
Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 - Region 5 Job Specialty : Staff Augmentation Job Duration : 13 months Shift : Day 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday (No holidays, no weekends) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : License : - Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) - Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) - Licensed Registered Nurse with certification in Mental Health or Psychiatry Certifications : Certificate of authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner Must-Have : Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal as per relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code Job Description : Develop, coordinate, implement, and provide interdisciplinary services related to behavioral and biomedical sciences.
- Independently provide behavioral healthcare services within the credentialed scope of practice.- Serve as lead workers or liaisons to other support agencies.
- Act as lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers or independently develop and implement treatment plans for clients.
- Coordinate admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans of the client's care cycle.- Provide interventions for acute, more complex clients and handle cases with numerous factors and problems.
- Provide crisis intervention.- Participate in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment objectives.
- Develop and design treatment intervention techniques and procedures.- Evaluate and modify treatment systems based on the client's progress and ability to change behavior.
- Evaluate the performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers in the administration of prescribed treatment plans.
- Maintain necessary data documents to satisfy federal, state, and local agency requirements.- Serve as an active member of treatment teams, training sessions, department procedure meetings, and policy review meetings.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services for coordination of referrals and follow-up services.
Unusual Working Conditions : May require unusual work schedules or arrangements.- Potential exposure to clients who may be potentially violent.
Exposure to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases may occur.- Travel to community sites under contract with the Department of Mental Health may be required.
