Expected salary range of $208,800 to $232,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

A highly experienced litigation and bankruptcy attorney who works independently and has major matter, team or client responsibilities.

Work generally involves handling matters of very substantial importance.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs as a specialist in the litigation and bankruptcy fields of law, provides technical and expert legal services to Constellation Business Units.
  • Under little or no supervision, plans, conducts and supervises large and highly complex legal assignments; evaluates both legal and business risks and advises clients accordingly;

represents Constellation in litigation or other relevant matters. Provides legal counsel to all levels of management, including senior management.

  • Directly manages relationships and matters with Business Units and outside counsel. Provides project leadership direction to support staff.
  • Prepare, and revise as necessary, budgets and early matter assessments for all matters involving outside counsel.
  • Projects / duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law.
  • At least 10-12 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of the legal field to the completion of complex assignments.
  • Requires excellent legal research, analytical abilities and on ongoing knowledge of federal and / or state law, including bankruptcy law
