• Required Skills : Med / Surg, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Insulin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, CPAP / BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac, Level 1 Trauma Experience
• Patient Diagnoses : come from ED, OR or ICU
• Services on unit : geriatric trauma : 55 yo + with trauma, Trauma : Abuse / violence victims, MVA, MVC, Falls, Acute Care Surgery : appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, TBI
• Special Equipment : lifts, restraints, wound vacs, traction, external fixators
