Project Managers are responsible for establishing and leading enterprise-wide, cross functional strategic initiatives. They lead a variety of different types of projects including launching new products and services, large-scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

We are currently transitioning to a scaled agile model, therefore this role will need both traditional project management, as well as scaled agile methodology experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering multiple strategic initiatives including business, operational, and information technology deliverables
  • Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit
  • Directs large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and partners
  • Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and oversees all phases of a project
  • Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Validates financial forecasts and cost assumptions and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
  • Works with resource managers to ensure that resource capacity planning is accurately forecasted
  • Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Handles risks and issues management for the project-level risks and interdependencies
  • Partners with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to track Agile development milestones and support Agile practices as needed
  • Manages team relationships to ensure effective delivery
  • Facilitates problem-solving and resolves stakeholder conflict
  • Teaches, coaches, and mentors team members to remove roadblocks and drive project execution

  • Strong attention to detail What you have (required qualifications) :
  • years of project management experience, managing multiple large, complex, and cross functional projects with emphasis on systems and technical environments
  • years of experience with project management tools and artifacts, including MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, project budgets, change requests, status reports, etc.
  • Experience managing a concurrent portfolio of work greater than $M
  • Experience preparing / presenting information for and engaging with officer-level audiences
  • Proven experience to execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace
  • Proven experience with various software development methodologies including Agile / Scrum
  • Proven ability to build relationships quickly and earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, being seen as a strategic partner
  • Deep experience working with product development and technology partners
  • Proven track record of applying an elevated level of detail to project management and communications
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent experience Preferred Skills :
  • Scaled agile methodology experience, strongly preferred
  • Contact center technology experience (phone / IVR, chat, SMS)
  • Background / experience in financial services industry
  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification
