Job Summary
- Under the direction and guidance of the Manager of QA, Training and Compliance, the QA and Training Coordinator delivers all training and onboarding programs for new and current Patient Access staff, develops documentation and training materials, and defines and evaluates competencies to support and improve Patient Access staff performance.
- The QA and Training Coordinator acts as a support resource for staff at all levels and functions as a subject matter expert in all aspects of Patient Access department positions, providing high-quality customer service in accordance with established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two to five years of experience in teaching, QA assessment and corporate training in hospital setting.
- Expertise with electronic instructional design, syllabus and lesson plan creation, and experience within electronic modalities.
- Understanding of patient demographics, insurance plans and medical terminology.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7 : 00am-4 : 30pm, shifts vary; 80hrs / 2wks
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.50 - $28.25 per hour
