Quality Assurance Engineer

100% Remote - In your role as a QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of ensuring the quality of our Client's products by building test plans and executing test cases for various features and functionality on our web and mobile applications.

You will work closely with developers and fellow QA Engineers on a scrum team focused on delivering software that meets the needs of our customers.

We value collaborative discussions and creative ideas on how to further enhance our testing strategies and processes. Our teams solve challenging problems ranging from automating complex schedules to developing optimized user interfaces for visualizing schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure software is awesome and high-quality
• Build product test strategies, write and execute test plans, file bugs, and communicate with the team about issues, risk, and product quality
• Develop and execute regression tests on every release
• Work with a talented team of engineers and support to triage inbound bug reports and reproduce issues
• Help in further refining our test methodology and approach

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 1-3 years experience as a QA engineer within an agile development team
• Hands-on experience testing a SaaS web application
• Knowledge of best practices and standards for web applications
• Experience testing iOS and Android applications
• Experience with agile software management tools (JIRA, VersionOne, etc.)
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong technical writing skills
• Excellent communication skills and upbeat personality
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience
