Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a critical part of keeping our manufacturing team operating at full capacity! The Maintenance Technician responds to and troubleshoots electrical and / or mechanical problems, dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining existing machinery and equipment to keep our equipment at its optimal condition.

Electrical experience is highly desired. Excellent benefits!

Essential Job Functions

• Dismantle, rebuild and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools
• Installs wiring of electronic devices
• Installation of a wide range of new and used equipment
• Wiring new electrical panels by following electrical drawings / prints
• Installation of both water and electrical plumbing
• Support required ISO documents / records associated with this department.
• Observe and listen to operating machinery or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs
• Maintains the preventive maintenance on equipment, as scheduled

Skills and Abilities :

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and components;
• Experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase, and low voltage controls
• AC DC motor controls
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprint
• Ability to work independently; self-starter
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Forklift driving experience desired.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent.
• 2-5 of experience working as a Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical problems
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements. (Examples : Lock Out / Tag Out, Pinch Points, electrical codes, HMIS / MSDS requirements, waste disposal.)
