Supply Chain Director
About the Role :
BioSwift Talent is excited to present a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Director to join a pioneering biotech company located in Boston.
Our client is at the forefront of innovation, making significant strides in advancing human health. As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient management of their global supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company’s growth and production goals.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, driving operational excellence in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Implement and optimize supply chain technologies and systems to enhance visibility, efficiency, and scalability.
- Oversee risk management strategies to mitigate disruptions and maintain continuity of supply.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, GMP, and cold chain logistics.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing supply chain strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
