You ll also be responsible for diagnosing andrepairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining apositive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactorywork.

JobResponsibilities
- Examine and diagnosevehicles
- Discuss repairs with shop foreman or serviceadvisor
- Communicate additional service requests to serviceadvisor
- Planwork procedures in cooperation with shopforeman
- Provide labor time estimates to serviceadvisor
- Monitor repair time and update service advisorregularly
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle careandoperation
- Complete story and / or documentation for clientrepairs
- Assist in mentoring techniciantrainees
- Attend company and factorytraining
- Keepcurrent with factory technicalbulletins
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations (such asdisposal of hazardouswaste)
Requirements
Educationand / orExperience
- High school diploma or GED(general equivalency diploma); or related experience and / ortraining; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
- Importexperience preferred
Certificates LicensesRegistrations
- Valid driverslicense
- ASECertificationpreferred
