Job Summary :
This role involves collaborating with various levels of management to program, troubleshoot, modify, maintain, upgrade (Electrical / Mechanical), and provide backup support for all PLC and computer software associated with the production equipment.
The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will work closely with the Manager, other Engineers, PLC Techs, Supervisor, Mechanics, and Electricians to assist with projects, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and repairs.
Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years' experience with Allen Bradley
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical controls
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
- Familiarity with industrial control communication protocols such as ControlNet, Ethernet, DH+, Remote I / O, and Device Net
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical schematics, and combustion control systems
- Understanding of Windows operating system, PC / software configurations, and how PLC software interacts with computer operating systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Prior experience with aluminum alloy extrusion
- Proven track record of successful machine integration and automation
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC-5, SLC-, ControlLogix, PanelView, and PanelView Plus
