Cogir Senior Living is hiring a caring, compassionate, and empathetic Caregiver-Shower Aide to join the team in our beautiful retirement Community Cogir at the Narrows.

Our Care Partners (Caregivers) provide direct care to our senior residents following a personalized treatment plan. The Shower Aid will have a set schedule 7 am - 11 am.

We have 2 available positions for part-time - Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday. This may be the ideal position for someone who needs flexible hours and seeks part-time employment.

What will you do as a Care Partner?

• Assist the residents in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while following community protocol, licensing regulations, and guidelines for both resident and employee safety.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat :

• Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Current caregiver training / certification as specified by state agency or the willingness / ability to obtain
• Valid CNA or HCA license in the state of WA.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
