SUMMARY :
Under limited supervision, manages a customer's Asset and Repair Tracking program at the customer's location. Ensures that customer expectations are accurately determined and are fully met.
This position works more than 50% of the time at the customer location.
JOB DUTIES
- Manages a customer's Asset and Repair Tracking program.
- Works with maintenance and chosen service shops, including Motion Industries Repair & Service Centers when applicable, to track all repairs and the impact that each repair has on downtime, operating costs and any other repair-related issues the plant may be experiencing.
- Constructs Bills of Materials (BOM) for all production equipment using state of the art software.
- Seeks alternatives to OEM products and documents cost savings resulting from interchanging OEM items when available. Surveys new equipment as necessary to convert parts in an efficient manner.
- Supports in identifying and procuring any products and parts requested by maintenance, engineers or other authorized employees requiring assistance in sourcing both standard and non-typical items.
Engages with maintenance and engineering to solve problems.
- Provides reporting as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) or more years of related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required.
- Customer service and verbal / written communication skills required. Ability to multi-task and time management skills required.
- Excellent computer skills and database skills required.
