Registered Nurse - Surgical Floor (PT- 0.75 FTE, Night Shift)

Part-time, 0.75 FTE (24 hours one week of a pay period, 36 hours the next), night shift position with weekend and holiday requirements.

Must be available all day, Mon-Fri, during a one-week pre-training period for hospital onboarding. Responsible to complete all dept specific education annually.

Position Summary :

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Minimum Qualifications :

Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)

American Heart Association BLS

Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing

Essential Job Functions :

Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation

Two hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually

Stroke Competency :

Complies with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyper acute and acute stroke

Participates in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stoke) education within one year of hire

Participates in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
