About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Emergency Room Job Duration : 104 Weeks Shift : Day - 11.5x3 - 07 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Two years of emergency room experience, including IV insertion and phlebotomy skills, and experience with conscious sedation License : New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications : AHA BLS, AHA PALS, AHA ACLS, IV / Phlebotomy experience, TNCC (specific to certain hospitals) Must-Have : English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write) Job Description : - Provide high-quality nursing care in an emergency room setting - Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy smoothly and efficiently - Administer conscious sedation as required - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care - Adapt to a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities - Provide clear and effective communication with patients and the healthcare team - Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation - Uphold all healthcare regulations and facility policies in all nursing practices
