Pharmacy Dispensing Technician
SCHEDULE Mon-Fri 3 pm-11 : 30 pm
$25hr-$30hr
SUMMARY :
Responsible for operating blending machinery and keeping accurate batch record documents
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
Previous 1-3 years experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry. Knowledge of GMP standards. Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Excellent writing and math skills required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Measure and weigh, solids, liquids, etc. based on batch cards independently as well as with a team environment. Stand / walk for most of the work shift.
- Perform job duties that require constant attention to manufacturing and batch record process. Periodically push / pull containers weighing up to 500 pounds and lift containers up to 50 pounds.
- Verify labels with batch manufacturing records
- Must be able to document dispensing process as per SOP
- Report abnormal conditions to the manager regarding equipment / product
Safety :
- The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
