- This role can sit remote but the candidate must be located within Wisconsin.
- Must have Cloud Data Engineering experience and Azure Data Factory Professional Experience.
- No C2C options for this role at this time.
- The salary range is flexible (open to negotiation), but the ideal range is $120,000 - $150,000 a year + FTE Benefits, potential bonus (discretionary), and remote.
Salary is dependent upon skills, experience, etc.
Must be willing to work within a CST timeframe.

Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer with experience in Azure Data Factory to join our team! The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud data engineering initiatives, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
As a Data Engineer at Snow Fox Data, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines to support our client’s data-driven initiatives and drive actionable insights for their business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and architect well-designed solutions.
- Implement data integration solutions to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability to meet business requirements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with data pipelines, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud data engineering and incorporate them into our processes and solutions.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and other relevant Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL / ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering issues.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Azure Data Engineer Associate or related certifications.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Snowflake experience is a major plus.
