About the Role
As a member of our strategic team of Large Enterprise Professional & Business Services (PBS) and Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) finance experts, you will be the face of Workday Financials to our largest and most strategic prospects and customers in thePBS and CMT industry space.
You will engage prospective customers as a key member of the sales team, responsible for discovery, collaborative product solution development and delivery of product demonstrations.
At Workday, we help Professional Services and CMT customers transform to realize unique efficiencies and pervasive insights afforded by our best-in-class single system-of-record for people, projects, revenue, financials and business intelligence.
You will leverage your industry and finance knowledge, presentation skills, and collaborative sales team experience to articulate the differentiated value of the Workday solution, expanding the adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) in the industry space.
Responsibilities include :
Delivery of functional product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
Assist in the closure of sales opportunities as a product expert in our unified solution for the Professional Services and Tech & Media industries.
Contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and strategic sales cycle closure plans.
Support sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives with industry / product presentation expertise.
Assist sales in the response to RFIs.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
About You
Basic Qualifications
For Senior level role, minimum 5 years in software presales / solution consulting
5+ years in core finance / accounting (AP, AR, GL)
For Principal level role, minimum 10 years in software presales / solution consulting
For Principal level role, must have at least two years performing in a senior level role at Workday.
5+ years in core finance / accounting (AP, AR, GL)
Prior experience in leadership role, without direct reports; with ability to influence product strategy and mentor others
Other Qualifications :
Experience with value-based solution selling
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Outstanding professional presence, with ability to clearly articulate value to c-level executives in the office of finance
Previous experience in a Professional Services and / or Technology company preferred
Expertise in Professional Services Automation tools, including projects, resource management, time & expense, billing, and revenue recognition processes preferred.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission / bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
