Medical Screening Assistants assist with study participant screening appointments. Duties include : scheduling / contacting study participants for appointments, data entry, callbacks for lab results, and assisting with the screening / physical exam process (performing vital signs, ECGs, blood draws, etc.
Excellent training is provided. Previous medical experience is preferred, but not required. As this position is also involved in translating and communicating with study participants, spoken and written Spanish-English bilingual ability is required (and tested).
This is a part-time position which works approx. 24 hours per week. Shifts typically occur Monday-Friday and are scheduled within a 6AM-3PM window.
Occasional Saturday availability is required.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED
- Post high school education in life sciences or medical training preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Experience in accurate documentation of data preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Saturday availability
- Spanish-English bilingual fluency is required (tested)
